Raspberry Lime Smoothie

Smoothies can be so versatile and there are unlimited flavor combinations. This refreshing raspberry lime smoothie has always been one of my staples for a nutritious breakfast. Smoothies can be perfect for an on-the-go drink or for an afternoon snack.

Smoothies are great for anyone who suffers from an inflammatory bowel disorder. The blender begins the food breakdown process so it gives your digestive system a bit of a break. They are the perfect way to ensure you are getting adequate nutrition while being easy on your gut.


2 bananas

I cup frozen raspberries

1 cup orange juice

2 cups coconut milk or nut milk of choice

1/3 cup fresh squeezed lime juice

1 cup homemade SCD 24 hr lactose free yogurt (can sub for your favorite plain yogurt )

2 pitted dates

6 mint leaves


Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and enjoy!
