These are so simple to make and will satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth without any refined sugar!! They are chewy, chocolatey and salty all in one, the perfect bite sized treat.
With only 6 ingredients and no baking required, these will take less than 15 minutes of active time to whip up. You might want to double (or triple) this recipe because they won’t last long!!
Ingredients
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
Directions:
Melt butter and honey in a saucepan on low-medium heat. Raise to medium-high heat and let it bubble for a few minutes to caramelize the mixture, stirring frequently.
Turn off the heat and whisk in peanut butter, vanilla and a pinch of sea salt.
Pour mixture into silicone candy molds filling about 3/4 way to the top. Place in freezer for 1 hour.
Melt chocolate on low heat. Spoon melted chocolate on top of caramel mixture, sprinkle some course sea salt on top and place back in the freezer until ready to enjoy.
If you don’t have silicone candy molds, you can place parchment paper in a shallow loaf pan and cut these into squares.
This recipe makes about 14 pieces.
