Cauliflower in a smoothie?!?!? Yes please!
I’m usually all about adding color into my smoothies, but this one sneaks in a powerhouse cruciferous veggie and I’m all about that!
The fresh peach and orange flavors are the real star flavors here. And honestly? You can't taste the cauliflower. Which is good because I certainly don’t feel like drinking a cup of cauliflower in the morning.
The cauliflower along with the addition of some Greek yogurt, chia seeds and hemp hearts give this smoothie a good amount of protein and fiber making it a well balanced meal.
Just toss all the ingredients in a blender and enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 bananas
2 cups frozen cauliflower florets
1 cup fresh or frozen peach
1 cup fresh orange
1 cup Greek yogurt
1 1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup hemp hearts
6-8 mint leaves
*This amount fills up about 3/4 of the Vitamix blender making about 6 small servings.
