Peach Ginger Smoothie



With it being the start of cold and flu season, I try and sneak fresh ginger into my family’s diet as often as I can. There is no better way than to throw it in a smoothie!


Ginger has been extensively studied and is known for its medicinal properties, especially with boosting your immune system. It’s the perfect superfood to add in everyday to help fight off any colds or infection.


The simple peach and ginger smoothie takes five minutes to throw together and is simply delicious. The best part is there’s a burst of summer flavor with the frozen peaches 🍑


Ingredients:

2 bananas

1 cup frozen peaches

1/2 large carrot

1/2 apple

1 inch knob of ginger

3 pitted dates

2 cups of orange juice

1 cup coconut milk

Juice from 1 lemon

5 mint leaves


Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend for at least 60 seconds.


This amount makes about 4 cups of smoothie.
