Healthy "Snickers" Bites

My daughter has been making these healthy "Snickers" bites all summer while home on break. So quick and easy, these are worth trying if you love candy bars! Filled with fiber and nutritious nuts, and covered in chocolate sauce, these will certainly satisfy your sweet tooth.

For the chocolate sauce, simply melt some refined sugar-free dark chocolate pieces. I love using HuKitchen brand for their clean ingredients and no added sugars.

Ingredients:

Dates, pitted

Almond or peanut butter

Peanuts

Chocolate sauce

Course Sea salt

Directions:

  1. Remove the pit from the dates and lay them open flat.

  2. Fill each date with almond or peanut butter

  3. Add some peanuts inside and close up the date.

  4. Drizzle the dates with chocolate sauce.

  5. Sprinkle with sea salt.

  6. Freeze for one hour then enjoy!
